LineLedger is open source software released under the GNU AGPLv3. You download it and run it on infrastructure you control — there is no hosted service, no account, and nothing to buy. The LICENSE governs the software and your rights in it; the documents below govern this website, which is where the only relationship between us actually exists.
- Terms of Service — The agreement that governs your use of this website, and how it relates to the AGPLv3 licence on the software.
- Privacy Policy — What this website collects, how we use and share it, and the privacy rights you have. Your books are not in scope — they never reach us.
- Security — What the software gives you to work with, what we are responsible for, and what running it yourself makes yours.
- Sub-processors — The third-party providers behind this website, and where they operate.
Looking for a data-processing agreement? There is nothing for one to cover. We never receive, store, or process your accounting data, so we are not a processor of it — see the Privacy Policy for what that means in practice, and Security for the obligations that running your own install puts on you.
