Common questions
- Can it handle exempt treatments and taxable retail on one invoice?
- Yes. Tax is applied per line, so a VAT-exempt treatment and a standard-rated retail item sit on the same invoice with the right codes — and the VAT report shows each separately when the return is due.
- Do you handle payroll for my staff?
- No — LineLedger does no UK payroll, and none is planned. Run the books and the VAT here, and post each pay run from your payroll software as a journal entry.
